Tori Ellen (Richards) Davenport, 64, of Hinsdale, NH, passed peacefully on November 22, at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital after a period of declining health.
Tori was born the eldest daughter to Margaret (Wright) and Edward Richards on November 17, 1961.
She grew up in Montague and attended local schools. She enjoyed and thrived in dance. Tori graduated from Turners Falls High School class of 1979. She worked various jobs until she found her true calling as a nurse, graduating from the Thompson School for Practical Nursing class of 1996. During the tenure of her career, she cared for folks from all walks of life, led vaccine clinics during the various flu outbreaks, and most of all dedicated her life to caring for the well-being of others.
Tori is survived by her beloved five children: her eldest son Michael Henry and his wife, Jillian, of Millers Falls, MA; her second born son Joseph Henry of Dover, NH; her eldest daughter Jessica Bills and her husband, Denny Bills Jr. of Hinsdale, NH; and her miracle twins, Nicholas Henry of Albany, NY and Amanda Henry of Pensacola, FL; her memory lives on through her fifteen beautiful grandchildren and her many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and great friends from across Massachusetts to Florida. Tori is also survived by her mother, Margaret (Wright), her stepfather, James Sprague, and the father of her children, Michael R. Henry, of Hinsdale, NH.
Tori was predeceased by her second husband, Kevin Davenport, who passed on October 21, 2018; her sister, Lori Doel, who passed on April 22, 2020; and her father, Edward Richards, who passed on Oct. 31, 1985.
In accordance with Tori’s wishes, private services to be held for family after cremation. Cremation services handled by the Cremation Society of New Hampshire.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association in her memory.
