Various Signature Requirements for Town Meeting
Article placement on an Annual Town Meeting Warrant:
Request must be in writing and endorsed by 10 registered Montague Voters. Must include residence with street and number. The request is delivered to the Board of Selectmen.

Article placement on an Special Town Meeting Warrant:
Request must be in writing and endorsed by 100 registered Montague Voters. Must include residence with street and number. The request is delivered to the Board of Selectmen.

To call a Special Town Meeting Warrant:
Request must be endorsed by 200 registered Montague Voters. Must include residence with street and number. Filed on Form E-307. The request is delivered to the Board of Selectmen.

Referendum vote of Town Meeting Action:
Request requires a petition endorsed by 30 registered Montague voters from each precinct submitted to the Board of Selectmen within 10 days after the dissolution of the recent Town Meeting excluding Sundays and holidays. Petitioners must create their own form, which must include the exact wording of the article to be re-voted.
