Family:
Michael is the oldest of the five children of Michael R. Henry and Tori E. Richards. His father was born and raised in Warren, Arkansas and moved to Massachusetts after his time in the Marine Corp. His mother was born and raised in Greenfield, Massachusetts with family ties to the Williams' family, one of the more notable families who were victim of the Deerfield Massacre in 1704.
In the fall of 2004, Michael married Jillian R. Otto. Together they have two wonderful children, Ryan and Ruby.

In 2008, Michael was elected to a 3-year term as a member of Town Meeting.
Michael's wife is a member of the Hillcrest / Sheffield PTO.
