No trash collection today? What gives?
I first checked the highly praised town website, nothing there… go figure.
I then called and spoke with Matt Cadran, Office Manager of the DPW, to find out what’s up. He informed me that there had been an issue with a couple of Allied Waste trash trucks going down yesterday and trash collection was delayed, but he was updated that collection had resumed and Montague would be fully collected today. He then provided me with Allied Waste’s customer service number, 800.367.7778.
When I called the number I was transferred to a customer service representative named Larry who confirmed Matt’s explination.
Basically hold tight, they’re on it.
Trash was picked up at my home in Millers @ 1:30pm.
